What will you plant?

A point in your design brief was that the garden has to provide seasonal fruit and vegetables for the tuckshop. Different plants grow during different seasons and are harvetsed at dfferent time as well. By planting seasonal fruit and vegetables it makes the garden more cost effective and the quality of what you produce will be greater.

It is also important to consider the climate and weather of the locatation of the garden. Is there any sunlight? Shade? does it get very cold or is it warm all year round? Weather can effect the growth of plants and is an important thing to consider.

It is time to start planning your garden. Using the GrowVeg garden tool you are going to plan the layout of your garden.

Final phase

You are almost finished. Your design looks great and now it is time to present it to the class. You will create a powerpoint presentation. You need to tell your audience why you have designed your garden this way and a final evaluation of the process. Refer to your design brief for more information.
